Glenn was born in Point Pleasant, WV, moved to Dunbar, WV, and then moved to Florida in 1963. He was a Senior Budget Analyst for various space contractors at Kennedy Space Center, FL, for 33 years. After retiring, he went to school and became an insurance agent until retiring in 1998.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Callie Boggess, of Dunbar, WV; brother, Edward A. Boggess, of Melbourne, FL; and daughter, Sandra E. Marcum, of Titusville, FL. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Joyce M. Boggess, of Thomson, GA; son James M. Boggess (Cheryl), of Cleveland, GA; step-daughter, Kim Jean McCroskey, of Germany; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, November 9, 2018, at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907. Burial will immediately follow at Westview Cemetery in Thomson, 543 Westview Dr., Thomson, GA 30824.
