H. Jack Hudson

He served in the U.S. Army and retired after 21 years of service. SFC (RET) Hudson is a veteran of WWII serving with the 506th PIR, 101st AB Div. and in the Korean Conflict. SFC (RET) Hudson saw service in Europe and received the Combat Infantrymans Badge (2nd award) and the Army Master Combat Parachutist Badge.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife, Ruth Yoshiko Hudson.

Survivors include his son, Richard Hudson (Bernadette); daughter, Kay Campbell (David); granddaughters, Michelle Kangas (Timothy), Claire Richards (Christopher), Anna Jackson (Bill); grandsons, Steve Campbell (Christy), Aaron Campbell (Kristi); and a host of great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at the Columbia Rd Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Rd, Martinez, GA 30907. SFC (RET) Hudson and his late wife will be buried at 1pm on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St, Beaufort SC 29902, with full honors being observed.
