Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to him we shall return. My son Hakeem was the best teacher I ever had in the 13 years he was here he thought me so many great things about life. I will miss you son but I know that you are in a much better place.
May Allah bless your beautiful soul.

I remember hakeem had texted me saying he had cancer again and i told him he was strong and he can beat cancer again, hakeem was very strong and i always thought my life wouldnt be the same if me and many other people had lost him. He always talked to me when other people wouldnt because i didnt like the things other girls did. He always sent me funny memes and we played video games together. He made me and many other people smile. I aspire to be a sweet and amazing person just as he was. I know hes in a much better place now and he wont have to suffer anymore. Fly high Hakeem we will all miss you. <3

Hakeem was a really kind person. He would never fail to put a smile on your face. I went to school with him at Evans Middle and Lewiston Elementary. He was also funny, and he would make us all laugh with his humorous jokes. He was very strong. But now he is in a beautiful place and he will be happy forever. I’m so happy that I got the chance to know him. He will forever be missed. Know that your son was very loved by everyone ❤️ - Ava Morton
