Aunt Sigi was one of those rare individuals who mixed her loving and caring nature with a dose of unfiltered truth. She had no problem telling you “like it is” all the while fixing us Wienerschnitzel dinner and sharing a laugh or two!! My heart hurts for her passing. But I chuckle to think she is now telling God how he should best manage heaven. Love you Aunt Sigi

My aunt Hilda was a very special lady. Her unique sense of humor and she was always being there for me since I was a baby.

She was my Aunt Sigi to everyone in our family and my friends. I will remember our Sunday dinners together and her bringing me lunch at my work in Pensacola. Very special times I will always remember the rest of my life.

When she visited us in Hawaii many years ago, she could not wait to get a new victim as we had a pig farm by the entrance to the Naval base, So she would tell everybody that they had a wonderful flower farm there and to take a deep breath to smell the flowers and of course it smelled like pig crap. Always cracked me up.

Again, she had a wonderful sense of humor unless you were the victim.

There are so many more things but there isn’t enough time. She was like a second mom to me in many ways and I miss her so much and she deserves to RIP.

Bye Aunt Sigi and I love you and she would say back to me, I love you more....

Rest my sweet Aunt Sigi and enjoy heaven.
