Ira Franklin Tindall

Ira was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Virginia Brooks Tindall; his parents, Johnnie and Mary Tindall; his son, Paul Franklin Tindall and his granddaughter Starr Virginia Tindall.

Ira is survived by his sons, Mark Ira Tindall (Wanda) and Eric Brooks Tindall (Martina); his grandchildren, Shealea Dawn Tindall, Rose Martina Tindall and Jack Eric Tindall.

Ira was married for 65 years. He was a Colonel in the Air Force for 26 years, where he served as a fighter pilot conducting over 300 missions during Vietnam. He and his wife were avid world travelers together. He was the owner of ReMax Masters from 1993 until 2014. On his 90th birthday, he went skydiving. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He knew no strangers and was helpful to all in many ways as a blessing.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 5 pm until 7 pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Rd Martinez, GA 30907. A funeral service for Ira will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11 am in the Chapel at Elliott Sons Funeral Home.

Ira will be laid to rest following the service at Bellevue Memorial Gardens and Chapel at 4501 Wrightsboro Rd Grovetown, GA 30813.
