James Wesley Gilmore, 63, of Grovetown, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011. Mr. Gilmore served his country in the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Army. In later years he retired from Tampa Electric Company and moved to Augusta.
Mr. Gilmore is survived by two sons, Shane Gilmore (Amy) and Patrick Gilmore (Kelly); 4 grandchildren, Cameron Gilmore, Brandon Gilmore, Brittney Arrington, and Brooke Arrington; nieces and nephews, Mike Murphy, Joe Murphy, Stephanie Murphy, Angie Ellis, Paul and Shannon Hughes, and Gary Hennessy; as well as numerous other family and friends.
A private memorial service will be announced by the family.
