Mr. Hopkins is survived by his children; Wesley (Nancy) Hopkins, Fay (Harry) Pate, Kay (Wayne) Hamilton; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eunice Hopkins.
Mr. Hopkins was a WWII veteran and retired in 1989 from E.I. Dupont.
Graveside services with military honors will be held 1 PM, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Chaplin Ellis Moore will be officiating and Brian Pate, Keith Pate, Austin Pate, Chris Hamilton, Wayne Hamilton and Teddy Forbes will serve as pallbearers.
