Joyce M Poirier

Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 3pm in the Mausoleum Chapel at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends after the service.

Survivors are her daughters, Deborah Poirier and her husband Michael Price of Glendale, AZ.; Stephanie Hughes of Augusta and her son; Michael Poirier and his wife Christine Poirier of Santa Rosa, Ca. Additional survivors are her 8 grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Joe and Julia Dyson, son Roland D. Poirier, brothers S. Murray Dyson and wife Hattie Mayo Dyson J. W. Dyson and wife Mary Dyson, Richard Dyson and wife Ilene Dyson, a sister Bettie Joe Dyson Corretti and husband Phil Corretti and Odessa Dyson Fowler.

Mrs. Poirier was a native of Augusta, GA. Before her retirement she worked many years at Hillcrest Memorial Park. She was a member of the Theta Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and a member of Good Government of Richmond County and was a former Democratic delegate of the 1996 convention.
