

Laura was a woman of quiet strength, curiosity, and deep devotion to the people and passions that shaped her life. She attended Boston College, an experience that helped nurture her lifelong love of learning and history. Professionally, she dedicated many years to her work in banking and as an administrative assistant, where she was known for her reliability, attention to detail, and warm presence.
Outside of her career, Laura embraced life with enthusiasm and creativity. She had a deep love for history and could often be found immersed in a good mystery novel. She also found great joy in traveling, capturing moments through photography, and spending time with her beloved cats.
Laura was an active and proud member of several organizations throughout her life. She was involved with the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and was a devoted member of Windsor Spring Baptist Church. She also held membership in the Billerica, Massachusetts Chapter #212 of the Order of the Eastern Star and served as Past Worthy Matron of Billerica, MA. She also held membership and was a Past Worthy Matron of Richmond Georgia Chapter #463, where she formed lasting friendships and contributed meaningfully to her community.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Carol Ann Manley and Lisa Joan Hatt, grandchildren Kevin Graham, Julie Graham, Robert Manley, Benjamin Manley, Michael Manley, Alexandra Smith, Kaitlyn Hatt, and Richard Hatt, great grandchildren Reagan Smith, Peyton Smith, Haley Burgess, along with extended family, friends and all who were fortunate to know her.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 11am at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, Ga 30907.
Laura’s legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and a genuine appreciation for life’s simple joys. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
