Lawrence Woodrow Travers Sr.

Born in Washington, D.C to Barbara and George Travers on October 27, 1963. He graduated from Laurel Sr. High School in Laurel, MD.

A veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany he was awarded the Blue Ribbon Metal for bravery and heroism and the Marksmanship for the Military Arms.

Lawrence was always a religious man and faithful Christian throughout his life.

Preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents, brother Arnold Sr October 2019 and sister Angela Ashby January 2021.

Survived by Mother Barbara Travers Broome, Sons Lawrence Jr and Lamar Travers, Grandchildren Lawrence III, Lamar Jr, Star and Cam Travers, Nieces Latesha Yates, Tarina Ashby, and Barbara J. Travers, Nephew Arnold Travers Jr. and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Great Nieces and Nephews.
