Lawson S Cole III

Born in Dallas, Texas, Skip graduated from Dallas Christian High School in 1964. He then attended University of Texas at Arlington and earned a degree in Accounting and Finance. Skip served his country in the Naval Reserves in Adak, Alaska where he worked in the communications field. He married the love of his life Nancy and they have been married for over 53 years.

Skip loved working with his hands doing woodwork projects, gardening, and anything mechanical. He also enjoyed being outdoors where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling. He was a faithful member at Evans Church of Christ where he worshipped with cherished Christian friends.

Skip retired from Proctor & Gamble after 35 years of dedicated service ending his career in process safety management. Nothing brought more joy to his heart than being with his family, especially his grandkids.

Skip is preceded in death by his parents Lawson and Odell Cole. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy; his children Chad (Samantha) Cole and Jill (Eric) Lindsay; grandchildren Bennett Lindsay, Reid Lindsay, Evie Cait Lindsay, and Miles Lawson Cole.

Funeral Services will be held August 30, 2024 at 11 am at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, Ga 30907.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro, Road, Grovetown, Georgia 30813.
