Lena M Singletary

Lena Mae Singletary entered into rest on November 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Lena was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness, gentleness, and unwavering faith touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Lena was a loving, sweet, and compassionate woman who cherished her family deeply. She found great joy in spending time with her loved ones and was a steady source of strength and encouragement. A faithful servant of the Lord, Lena was a dedicated member of Mercy Gate Church, where she shared her love for God through her service, fellowship, and example.

Having lived a life of grace and devotion, Lena has now gone home to be with the Lord and has received her heavenly crown.

Lena is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Lavaughn Singletary; her children, Bill Ware (Alice), Steve Ware, and Valerie Johnson; her grandchildren, Kimberly Powell, Heather Logan, and Jay Underwood; and her great-grandchildren, Bryce Donaldson, Ryder Schultz, Bentley Schultz, Savannah Logan, Adeline Logan, and Noelle Underwood.

Lena’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, her church community, and all who were blessed to know her.

A funeral service will be held for Lena on November 7, 2025 at 11:00 am at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813.
