Louise Reese Minton

Mrs. Minton retired from the Richmond County Government Civil Court and District Attorney’s Office. She was a past member of the Quota Club, Boating Club of Augusta, and Royal Arcanum.

Mrs. Minton is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest W. Minton; parents John and Emmie Reese; brothers, Irvin Reese and James Reese; sisters, Allene Floyd, Thelma Hydrick, Rosa Lee Peebles, Lillian Goldman and Emmie Jackson.

Survivors include son, Wayne Minton (Nan); grandchildren, Donna Tadlock (Bill), Tina Inglett (Mark), and Wayne Minton, Jr. (Melissa); six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Pall bearers will be Wayne Minton, Jr., Austin Tadlock, Bill Tadlock, Mark Inglett, Ethan Redlund, and Everett Hydrick.

The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Columbia Road. A graveside service will be held at 11am, Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
