Mrs. Dean was born to the late Robert and Ellen Johnson in Frostberg, Maryland. She was a Pre-School Teacher and adored working with children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Dean is preceded in death by her son, Brian Dean; and brother, James Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Alvin Dean; daughter, Sherry Ann Shaffer; grandchildren, James Graham Dean, Sierra Dawn Atkins (Michael), Chase Matthew Shaffer and John Dean Shaffer; and great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Atkins.
