Born to James and Helen Cogswell in Chicago, IL, she had resided in the Augusta area since moving from Gainesville, FL in 1999.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Dr. Philip M. Baker, in 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara P. Schneider, Grovetown; son, Dr. Philip S. Baker, Evans; grandson, Forest Richardson and his wife, Kara, Illinois; and two great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held privately.
