Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 29, 2016 in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Chaplin Race Lariscy officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service on Friday at the Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Hephzibah but has lived in Appling for several years. She retired from the Civil Service at Fort Gordon with 33 years of service. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, and she enjoyed reading and playing bingo.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her grandson, Curtis Johnson. Survivors include her sons, Henry F. (Marcia) Johnson Jr., Ronnie C. (Julie) Johnson, her daughter, Brenda Johnson Lanier, 7 grandchildren, and several Great-grandchildren
