Mario "Skeeter" Garcia Jr.

Mario Garcia Jr. (Skeeter), 29, entered into rest on March 28, 2018 in Augusta, GA. Skeeter was born and raised in Augusta, GA. Born to Mario Garcia Sr. and Patricia Ann (Williams) Smith (David Mitchell Smith, deceased).

He was preceded in death by the following grandparents, Paul Williams Sr., Shirley Williams, Manuel Garcia Sr., & Carroll Smith. He is survived by two grandmothers Patricia Garcia and JoLynn Smith.

He was a wonderful loving husband to Jaclyn Lee (Lasecki) Garcia, a loving brother to Brandi Marie Knox, Jennifer Lynn Foster (Corey), Brittany Nicole Smith, and Ashleigh Danielle Smith. He had eight nieces and nephews, Addison, Haley, Olivia, Brayden, Trey, Carolina, Hayden, and Stella, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.

He was employed at Jim Whitehead Tire and was in the tire business for going on eight years. He was a Georgia boy at heart but a Carolina Gamecock football fan.

A celebration of Skeeter’s life will be held on Wednesday April 4, 2018 at 3:00PM at Elliot Sons Funeral Home located at 4255 Columbia Rd, Martinez, GA.

The family will receive additional family and friends at 2:00PM prior to the service.
