Mary Ramirez Hong

Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family will miss her deeply and cherish their memories shared together. She was a native of San Antonio, Texas.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Ellen Ovalle Garcia; husband, Joe Woo Hong, Sr.; sister, Pauline Morales; brothers, Arthur and Vincent Ramirez; and step-father, Frank Ramirez, Sr.

Mrs. Hong is survived by her brothers, Frank and Jesse Ramirez; sisters, Margaret Hernandez and Annie Kenisky; daughter, JoAnn Hong (Jacob)Munson; sons, Gene Han (Bonnie) Hong, GenTong Woo (Patricia) Hong, Sr., Joe Woo (Margaret)Hong, Jr.; grandchildren, Cynthia Worthington (Lee) Friday, Chasen (Trina)Hong Worthington, Stephanie Hong, GenTong Woo Hong, Jr. and fiance’, Susan Longshore, Travis Hong, Joseph Hong and Amber Hong; great-grandchildren, Lauren Friday, Landen Friday, Kayleigh Hong and Jamie Arrington, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6-8PM, Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, July 11, 2015 in the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Sessions officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Chasen Hong Worthington, Lee Friday, Travis Hong, GenTong Hong, Jr., Joseph Hong and Amber Hong.
