Melba was a lifelong resident of Augusta. She grew up in the area and then retired from Georgia Regional Hospital. She was an aide and worked closely with the adolescence patients. She loved to work with crafts and spend time watching football with her family. She was an Alabama Crimson Tide fan at heart, but still cheered along with her family for the Georgia Bulldogs. She loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren she closely treasured. She will be missed deeply but her memories will be treasured forever.
