Monika E Price

Mrs. Monika Elisabeth Price left this world on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at the age of 82. She was born and raised in Germany. She was married to U.S. Army (Ret) and Richmond County Board of Education JROTC Senior Army Instructor (Ret) Major Luther W. Price, for 60 years.

She had two sons, Michael W. Price, Sr. (Jill) North Augusta, SC, and Roy P. Price (Keith), Valencia, CA. She had three grandchildren and six great grandchildren: Julia F. P. Beaty, (Robert; Casey) Columbia, SC: Jennifer P. Mizzell (Chase; Elizabeth, Margaret, Eleanor, Abigail) Blythewood, SC: Michael W. Price, Jr. (Jenna; Charlotte) Augusta, GA.

Mrs. Price was a loving mother, grandmother, homemaker, military wife, and supporter of the military at the highest levels as well as the JROTC programs at Hephzibah and Richmond Academy High Schools. She was a staunch supporter of the Wounded Warrior Program at Fort Gordon, Georgia.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road Chapel, in Martinez, Ga, Reverend Roy Kiser will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow the funeral service at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, Ga.
