Norma Jean Peevler

Norma was born on March 3, 1948 to Don and Sara Peevler in Charleston, South Carolina. She attended and graduated from Butler High School in Augusta, GA and further her education by attending Augusta College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She worked for Georgia Power for many years as an Account Auditor. Due to her medical illnesses she was medically retired. Norma suffered with Sjogren’s disease and fibromyalgia for almost 38 years. After her retirement she loved to travel the world with her friends.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents Don and Sara Peevler and niece Janna Peevler.

She is survived by her brother Dean Peelver (Leslie); niece Sara Boyd and Jennifer Baker; nephews Hunter Wells and Eric Baker.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 2:00 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road Augusta, GA, officiating will be Pastor Ric Turpin of Bold Springs Church in Monroe Georgia. A visitation will be held following the service.
