

Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Bible Deliverance Temple, 1857 Fenwick St. with Dr. Kelly McKnight and Associate Pastor, Charlotte Ginn officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery.
Mr. Reese, a native of Richmond County, lived in Martinez for 71 years. He retired from Kimberly Clark after 35 years of service. He served in the Vietnam War and received a Honorable Discharge. He was also a member of Bible Deliverance Temple.
Family members left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 51 years, Vickie Reese; son, Randy E. Reese, Jr. (Jessica); daughters, Dorie Reese Newman and Tammie Reese Smith; grandchildren, Brittany Neal (Corey), Taylor Reese, Reese Newman, Callie Anne Newman, Abbie Smith, Allie Smith, Meghan Fowler and Sarah Fowler; great-grandchildren, Cash Galati, Lydiah Dellinger, Forrest Dellinger, Ryder Dellinger and Teagan Neal; brother, Donnie Waters; mother-in-law, Dorothy Peebles; sister-in-law, Pamela Camp (Bobby); brother-in-law, John Peebles (Naysel), sister-in-law, Charlene Mahr, many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Reese and mother, Juanita Ivey; brother James "Jimmy" Mahr; and father-in-law, John H. Peebles, Jr.
Randy was a tender, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a good listener and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, bowling and had a love for many other sports. He was a lifetime fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Braves. He spent 35 years of his life working at Kimberly Clark and loved every minute of it. After retirement, he did lawn care with his son because he loved being outdoors. He enjoyed taking care of his goldfish pond, spending time with his dog, Taffee, watching Gunsmoke and opening his pool for his family and friends. Randy loved attending and serving in his church. He was a very giving man and never wanted anything in return.
Pallbearers will be Randy Reese, Jr., Tony Peebles, Jr., Mike Rogers, Sr, David Shelton, Bobby Camp and Buck Salazer.

The family will receive friends from 3-5p.m., Sunday, February 5, 2017, at the funeral home.
