Raymond Taylor Johnson

EVANS, Ga. - Raymond Taylor "Ted" Johnson, beloved husband of Levaughn Baker Johnson entered into rest on Friday September 20, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Johnson was born in Burlington, NC and served in the U.S. Navy. A member of The Sanctuary, he also was a member of Faithful Friends at the church. Also served as a Royal Rangers leader for 28 years, with the Assembly of God and was a past state leader of this organization. Survivors include his wife Levaughn Baker Johnson, sons and daughters-in-law Tim (Joyce) Johnson, Michael (Carolyn) Johnson; daughter Vicki Balser; step-daughters Sharon Green and Tracey Cooper; step-sons Keith (Kim) Green, Gus Green, Michael (Wanda) Green and William Cooper, eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Monday evening at Elliott Sons, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez. Mr. Johnson will then be conveyed to the care of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA for services and interment in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George later in this week.
