MARTINEZ, Ga. - Richard R. Koye, 76, entered into rest on January 10, 2013 at his residence. He was a member of the U.S. Army serving his country for over 23 years until his retirement. Following his military career, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service until retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and James Koye; and brother, Jimmy Koye. Richard is survived by his wife, Brigitte Koye; Step-sons, David and his wife Renee, Arno and his wife Ingrid; Step-daughter, Ruth; Grandchildren, Mario, Jasmin, Christoph, Cody, Taylor and Holly. Memorial services will be held 11:00a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home Columbia Road Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
