A native of Alexandria, VA, son of John Howard and Margaret, brother of Ellen, husband of Paula, and father of Aubry Jean, entered into rest on Sunday, October 14, 2018.
After graduating from T.C. Williams High School, home of the Titans, he attended Virginia Wesleyan on a golf scholarship. He then worked at the Radisson Hotel where he met his wife. This Washington Redskins’ fan moved with his family to Georgia where he drove for a local dry cleaning business which led to a longtime of driving and making deliveries for GrayBar Electric. A season ticket holder of local hockey, both the Augusta Lynx and the Augusta RiverHawks, King Richard could be found holding court over opposing teams from Section 101.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church, 5555 Hereford Farm Road, Evans, GA 30809. The family will receive friends after the service.
