Robert James Gross

August 18, 1964April 10, 2019

Robert James Gross, 54, entered into eternal rest with his family by his side at 3:54 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10th, 2019.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Lowe; his siblings, Angel Gross, Michael Gross and Tricia Lowe; his children, Robert “Robbie” James Gross II, Amanda Gross, Amber Gross, Britney Gross, Heather Morrow, Justin Morrow, Desiree Morrow and Dale Heft; and his 16 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, William Nelson Gross and his brother, William “Billy” Nelson Gross Jr.

Robert was born in Germany on August 18th, 1964 due to his father’s service in the United States Army. As a young boy, he traveled around the world with his mother and step-father, where he developed a love for different cultures. Robert went on to follow in his footsteps and joined the Army himself. After his service, he spent the remainder of his life in Georgia and Nevada, where he earned several certifications and built his career as an Industrial Contractor.

Robert was cherished by his loved ones and will be greatly missed. Truly a force to be reckoned with, his strength and shining spirit are his legacy. Like a soaring eagle, bestowing courage amongst us all. Our guardian angel - forever in our hearts with a loving hand on our shoulders.

Memorial services will be held at 6pm, Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
