I will always have fond memories when I think of Shetal.  I had the pleasure of sharing long hours at work and after work.  He had a drive and zeal like no other person I have ever met.  Software development can be dull and boring but Shetal had a way of making the most painful task funny and exciting in way that drove you forward to accomplish the next task.  I always wanted to see what his coding would do once he loaded the new capability.  He never allowed administrative limitations to constrain his will and immense desire to create the best product or new functionality that no one could have imagined possible.  He was a truly gifted person who lived life with an infectious smile and a can do attitude.  He had little patience for slow thinkers or dull and unimaginative people, especially those who tried to restrict or limit his creative genius.   I could sketch a design of a user requirement and he would have a prototype ready the next morning to show me how it worked.   I remember one day having dinner at his house in Orlando after work and he pulls out these gourmet frozen meals to eat in between video games.  He had every game system available and piles of beta software he tested during his spare time.  He was my right arm and I regret not being able to continue working alongside him after JSIMS and CCWS were no longer funded.  No words can express his loss and I am deeply saddened my little buddy is no longer among us.

It was such a pleasure working with Shetal at SAIC for a well-known client named CDC.gov Shetal was one of the most brilliant developers that I had ever worked with in my many many years in technology.  He has the most awesome sense of humor and a perfect gentleman. Everyone he encountered considered him to be a very nice and cool person. My heart felt condolences are going to his entire family. May you find comfort and peace during this difficult time. Sincerely.

My deepest condolences and sympathies regarding Shital.  Shital was fine young man.  I never heard a discouraging word about him, and during the time that I worked and got to know him, he was a very good friend.  My heart goes out to the family, and I will pray for your comfort during this tragic time in your lives.

I had the incredible privilege to work with Shetal when he was in Orlando working on the JSIMS and WARSIM programs. His smile and sense of humor made coming to work a joy.  He was incredibly talented and creative and wanted to provide our Army customer with more than they asked for.  Shetal built a computer for me.  We shopped for the parts and he put it together.  Best computer I ever had. He also showed me how to download music for free (when it was still semi-legal):) I am deeply sorry for your loss.  Although we had not connected in several years, I will deeply miss my friend Shetal.
