My name is Gail Gilmer Furman and I worked together at Advance Auto Parts Distribution Center. When he retired I lost a very dear friend. I never did see him again. But every time I go by the road he lived on I would think about him. I would never have known about his passing if it wasn't for Olivia put it on face book. Please except my deepest condolences. He was a great friend. I will never forget him. God be with the family.

Enjoyed many years knowing Furman, Gaynel, Janet, Silvercoat, Connie and Little Tony. They were a fine family. I was looking back at pics with the Westerneers Band and the cookouts we had together for band practice or just a social gathering. Furman was always pulling pranks or making us laugh. He was an excellent lead player and vocalist. Life was a lot of fun on and off the bandstand with him. Fly high my friend your work on earth is done. Now its time to find that heavenly band.
