Born June 7, 1949 in Newark, New Jersey, she was the granddaughter of Susan Sowell who raised her.
Alomha graduated from Virginia State College in May 1973. She began her Federal Government career at the National Archives and Records Administration / Federal Register Office where she worked her 36 years of government service. She retired in August 2006.
Alomha accepted the Lord Jesus Christ on November 9, 1981 and immediately embraced His teachings. She married the love of her life Samuel Morris on August 10, 1985 and together acquired a strong commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. She and Samuel loved cruising and did so yearly.
They joined Independent Bible Church on September 29, 2013. She served as Deaconess and Bible Study Teacher.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Samuel; son, Isaac Rowland; sister, Paula Sowell; brother, Vincent Swanda; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends.
She loved and lived by her life-long bible verse, Galatians 2: 20.
