Anthony Bittinger

Anthony Bittinger, 63 of Martinsburg, passed away March 9, 2019. Born July 2, 1955 in Washington DC, he was the son of the late Samuel and Jeanette Bittinger. Anthony loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed playing banjo, shooting pool, and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Bittinger; two daughters: Ashley Gadwaw and spouse, Zachery and Sabrina Bittinger and spouse, Kimberly Burdge; one son, Anthony S. Bittinger, Jr.; grandchildren: Waylon Bittinger, Jorge Garcia, Ryan Gadwaw, and Arizona Gadwaw; brothers: Samuel Bittinger and Aaron Bittinger; sisters: Sandy Stapleton and Cindy Parrish; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Barry Bittinger, Haven Bittinger, and Gregory Bittinger; and sisters, Meda Bittinger and Sherryl Bean. A memorial service will be held on March 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Wherehouse, 411 Auburn Street Martinsburg, West Virginia 25401.
