Tony was born Sept. 7, 1934, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the son of the late Harry and Agnes Dasch. In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by his brother, Harry Dasch Jr.
He entered the Army in 1952 where he received his certificate of Training award for completing the Morse Interceptor Course. He received medals for Marksman and Good Conduct before leaving the Army in 1962.
In 1977, he married his current wife, Brenda of 42 years. Tony had many jobs throughout his life, but his favorite one was working in produce. He had many hobbies. He loved camping, flea markets, gardening, fishing, fixing cars, writing poems, football, wrestling and many others. Him and Brenda both had a huge heart for cats and dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Dasch, of Martinsburg; from a previous marriage, he had three daughters, Virginia (John) Maclelland, and Shirley (Bill) Gary, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, and Debra (Kenneth) Scott, of Waco, Texas; a sister, Delores Dasch, of Essex, Maryland; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and four nieces.
Services will be held at a later date. In leiu of flowers contributions can be made in his name to The Salvation Army.
