

Born on May 23, 1950, in Loraine, Ohio, Tony proudly served his country in the United States Army, including eight years as an Airborne soldier and service in the Special Forces. During his military career, he had the opportunity to travel the world, with Italy remaining one of his favorite places.
His dedication to the military continued long after his active service. Tony worked at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Martinsburg and was a steadfast supporter of fellow veterans, generously donating food and financial assistance whenever he could. No matter the job, he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment. He also had a lifelong interest in computers and electronics and enjoyed learning and working with technology. Above all else, Tony was a proud veteran who loved serving his country and supporting those who had served alongside him.
Tony is survived by his fiancée, Lynn Moore; his two stepsons, Charles F. Plunkett and Jerry W. Ricketts Jr.; and his two beloved step-grandchildren, Rouge I. Plunkett and Charles K. Plunkett.
Inurnment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
