Benjamin A. Weaver, 82, of Kearneysville, WV passed away on September 11, 2010 at the VAMC.
Born April 8, 1928 in Hume, VA he was the son of the late Benjamin and Mamie Shifflett Weaver.
Benjamin proudly served our country in the US Navy and Army Air Corps. He was a member of the Crosspoint Church of God and a member of the Moose Club in Charles Town, WV.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Weaver, two sisters, Eunice Marie Rutherford and Mamie Henrietta Royle.
He will be sadly missed by his longtime companion, Freeda Funk, a son, Bennie, two daughters, Debbie and Vickie and a sister Ella Victoria Williams of Chester Gap, VA and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Friday, September 17, 2010 at Rosedale Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 2PM with the Pastor Harold Newsome officiating.
