She was born March 24, 1945 to Louis and Catherine Whittington in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Brenda married her husband, Robert V Dusing on December 22, 1963. They were married for 55 years. She graduated from South High in Hagerstown in 1963. She was a huge Washington Nationals fan and New England Patriots fan. She loved to play Bingo, watch the birds, listen to Elvis Presley and holler at the referees at her grandkids’ ball games. She was a sunday school teacher and a member of First Baptist Church of Inwood and a Girl Scout leader. Brenda retired from Winchester Medical Center.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Robert Dusing; five children: Kim Deshong of Inwood, Patricia (Joe) Fields of Inwood, Allen Dusing of Falling Waters, Louis (Mary Pat) Dusing of Inwood and Robert Jr (Penny) of Gerrardstown; 19 grandkids and 11 great grandkids; 1 sister, Debbie Bridendolph of Williamsport, Maryland.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joanne Sprankle.
Family will receive friends on Monday May 6 2019 at First Baptist Church of Inwood, 634 Middleway Pike, from 6 until 9 pm. Funeral service will at the church on Tuesday May 7 at 11 Am with interment following in Elmwood Cemetery of Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
