Brett Anthony Hamlet, 31, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, passed away on June 27, 2026. Born on April 11, 1995 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Brett was the son of Eric Hamlet and Heather Bullock. From an early age, his adventurous spirit was evident in the joy he found in anything to do with cars, and those who knew him will remember the steady compassion he showed to the people around him.
In addition to his parents, Eric and Heather, Brett is survived by his sister, Danielle Smith; brothers, William Hamlet and Deric Hamlet; step-father, Larry Bullock; step-mother, Emily Hamlet; niece, Adalynn Hamlet; aunt, Annette Johnson; uncle, Shane Johnson (Tammy ); nephews, Zander Hamlet and Ronin Smith; and maternal grandparents, Jerry and Wanda Johnson. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Tennessee.
