Born on September 19, 1949 he was the son of the late Bruce and Fern Martens.
Bruce was a proud Coast Guard Veteran, Marine Surveyor and Tug Boat Captain in California.
He is survived by sons Alex Martens (Janice) and Adam Martens.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
