C. Jay Ivie

Cloys Jay Ivie , 71, of Martinsburg, passed away on, November 21, 2016 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born August 15 1945 in Arkansas, he was the son of the late Willis and Vera Ivie.

Jay served in the Army and was a member of New Beginning Full Gospel Church. He was also the owner of J.I.V Enterprises.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 11 years, Janet Ivie.

Jay is survived by two daughters: Dana and Tara Ivie; sisters: Lavon Rowe, Thelma Newsom, and Rita Matuz; one brother: Bradford Ivie; grandchildren: Tairon Ivie, Kiara Ivie, India Redman, Spencer Haines, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at New Beginning Full Gospel Church on Friday, November 25 from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral Services will be on November 26 at 2 pm at the church with Reverend Oscar Motilal officiating. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
