Carol Virginia Mauck, 70 of Inwood, became an angel in her heavenly father’s house in the early morning hours on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at home. Carol had been feeling ill for several months and eventually our Father called her into His Kingdom of Heaven. She will forever watch over and protect the people that she loved and the ones that loved her.
Carol was a graduate of Martinsburg High School Class of 1965. She had worked at several jobs including Dept. of Welfare, Capitol Records, and Rosedale Cemetery being her major careers.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Bedington Volunteer Fire Department. She was of Pentecostal faith and lived her life accordingly. She had written and published several books on the Gospel. For many years, she was the youth Sunday School teacher. Carol was elected for two terms as the President of The Women’s Aglow Ministries.
Carol was the daughter of the late Walter J. Heck and Alice V. Brown Heck. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Kenneth W. Mauck of Inwood whom she married in 1966; her loving and only child, Rhonda R. Snyder and her husband, Andy Snyder; granddaughter, Sheena; grandson, Isaac; two step grandchildren: Andrew and Andrea; brother, Walter R. Heck and Carolyn of Virginia; sisters: Geneva J. Caplinger of Martinsburg, Darlene K. Flood of Martinsburg, and Diane D. Martin and Phil of Bedington; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters: Deloris F. Heck and Patricia A. Robinson; and brothers: Ronald S. Heck and Mitchell L. Heck.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Rosedale Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 1 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
