Born April 5, 1940 in Whitesburg, KY, he was the son of the late Lenville and Mattie (Bates) Gibson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Rickey Gibson, four brothers, Ronnie, James, CoyGlen, and Marvin Gibson, and a sister, Joyce Foreman.
He will be sadly missed by his son, Randy Gibson, and his wife Sheila, of KY; one brother, Gary Gibson of KY; a sister, Jean Thomas of CA; three grandchildren, Kyle Gibson, Brandy Brown, and Jamie Novia.
He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Rosedale Funeral Home, Martinsburg. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Wednesday at Rosedale Funeral Home with Rev. Ollie Baer officiating
Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
