Charles N. Schoppert

Born July 2, 1939 in Martinsburg he was the son of the late Roy Franklin and Mary Stanley Schoppert.

He was a member of New Beginnings Church.

He had retired from Capitol Cement as a loader operator.

Nelson enjoyed many things in life including the love of his wife and children.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Shackelford Schoppert; their children, Doris Ann Keesecker and husband, Joseph “Gene”; Betty Wageley and husband, David; Tammy Schoppert; Jeffrey T. Schoppert and wife, Shelly; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Schoppert, Sr. and William “Bill” Schoppert; and one sister, Sue Hudspith.

He was preceded in death by a son, Nelson C. Schoppert; one brother, James Schoppert; and two sisters, Nellie Triggs, and Mildred Shade.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Rosedale Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11:00AM at New Beginnings Church with Pastor Oscar Motilal officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
