Charlotte Base Barnette Trainor, of Martinsburg WV, formally of Catonsville MD born January 28, 1943, in Baltimore, MD, passed peacefully at home surrounded by friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Earl Base and Eleanor Belsky (Van Fleet), two brothers Charles Base and Michael Shepperd, and Stephen Barnette by way of first marriage. She is survived by her husband of 39 years Charles Trainor, son Robert Barnette, sister Eleanor Dawn Sears, brother Carl (Bud) Base his wife Terri, sister Ella (Missy) Russell her husband Robert, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Charlotte was a loving woman of faith and kindness. Though we are saddened by her departure we take comfort in knowing she is now in a more peaceful place reunited with beloved family. In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to be sent to Hospice of Panhandle.
A church service will be held on 11.15.2025 at 11:30 at St Luke's United Methodist church, 700 New York Ave, Martinsburg, WV.
