Clarence H Stubbs Sr.

Born on November 30, 1933, to the late Newton Stubbs.

Following high school, he proudly served in the United States Army.

Clarence enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved spending time fishing, cheering on his favorite baseball team, the Baltimore Orioles, and keeping himself busy with projects around the house. He was happiest when he was active, working with his hands, and surrounded by family.

He leaves behind a loving legacy through his children: Clarence H. Stubbs, Jr. and his wife, Terri; Kelvin L. Stubbs, Sr. and his wife, Lauren; David K. Stubbs and his wife, Shelley; Yvonne Michelle Turner and her late husband, Peanut; Beverly D. Sharer and her husband, Jeff; and Pat Gibson and her husband, Rodney.

He is also survived by his brothers, Rooney Stubbs and Kenneth Stubbs. Clarence was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride throughout his life.

In addition to his father, Clarence was preceded in death by his beloved son, Timothy Stubbs; his brothers, Robert Stubbs, Charles Stubbs Sr., and Andrew "Butch" Stubbs; and his sister, Mariabelle Stubbs.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 1:00pm until the start of memorial services at 2:00pm. Services will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home, 917 Cemetery Rd., Martinsburg, WV, 25404.
