David was a retiree who cherished car races, truck and tractor pulls, and college football, with a particular fondness for his favorite team, the WVU Mountaineers. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Butts. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Pam, his two sons, Nick and Jason, and his sister, Edie.
A visitation will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home in Martinsburg, West Virginia, on January 13, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
David will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
