David Henry Coulter, Jr., 81, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2010 at Shenandoah Health Center in Charles Town, WV.
David retired from the John J. Kirlin Co. and Steamfitters Union Local #602. He was a lifetime charter member of the Shannondale Club, and also a member of the Moose Lodge 948, VFW Post 3522, American Legion Post 71, and he was active in the Charles Town Senior Center.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Isabella K. “Blackie” Coulter, and two sisters, Dorothy Lynard and Edith Howard.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Phyllis Day Coulter, a son, Russell W. Coulter of Harpers Ferry, three daughters, Pamela C. Major of Washington, DC, Patricia A. Cogle of Harpers Ferry, and Paula B. Barrow of Harpers Ferry.
He is also survived by grandchildren Eric L. Cogle, David O. Coulter, Jacquelyn Major, Joshua Major, and Donavin Barrow, and two great-granddaughters, Hunter R. Cogle and Kaidyn A. Cogle.
