David Earl Stout Sr

David Earl Stout Sr. of Ranson, West Virginia passed away on November 26th, 2024. He was born March 16th, 1942, in Martinsburg, West Virginia and was the son of the late William N Stout Sr. and Velma C Stout.

He was a 1960s graduate of Martinsburg High School and a graduate of Nova Community College. Mr. Stout retired after twenty years of service from the US Navy as a Chief Petty officer and was also a Vietnam War Veteran. Mr. Stout also served 40 years with the USPS. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ranson, WV.

Mr. Stout is survived by his wife Wanda J. (Reid) Stout, of sixty years; his two children, his daughter Michele and husband Timothy of California and his son David E Stout Jr. and wife Sara of Elqin South Carolina; one grandchild, Brooke L. Stout and her husband Hunter of North Carolina. Mr. Stout was the last surviving member of his family of four sisters and four brothers.

A memorial service will be held for David at First Baptist Church in Ranson West Virginia on Friday November 29, 2024 at 11 am. with Reverend Mike Whitman officiating. A private burial will take place in Rosedale Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to First Baptist Church Mission Ministries.
