Elisabeth was a delight to be around and will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her. She was one of the first people I met after moving to Shepherdstown in 1981 and I was lucky enough to play with her bridge group on a regular basis for a few years before I decided to go back to work. Her smile would light up the room and her laugh would make us all laugh - such a warm, gentle woman. When she talked about her children and grandchildren, you could almost feel the love and pride she had for all of you with each word. You were all the world to her - you, George , and bridge! It was such a loss to Shepherdstown when they moved away. Now she is with George once more and lighting up heaven with her beautiful smile - the loveliest angel of all. May you find the comfort you need through the memories you've made together as a family. Losing a parent is hard at any age but especially when your parent is as sweet and loving as Elisabeth. God bless all of you.

She was one of the first people I met after moving to Shepherdstown in 1981 and I was lucky enough to play with her bridge group on a regular basis for a few years before I decided to go back to work. She immediately made me feel welcome and a part of the group even though I was new to town and 30 years younger - that didn't matter to her - I was just one of the girls! Her smile would light up the room and her laugh would make us all laugh - such a warm, gentle woman. When she talked about her children and grandchildren, you could almost feel the love and pride she had for all of you with each word. You were all the world to her - you, George , and bridge! It was such a loss to Shepherdstown when they moved away.I remember feeling very sad when she told me about the move because I knew I would no longer be seeing her at the grocery store, or the post office, or the dental office where I worked. But now she is with George once more and lighting up heaven with her beautiful smile - the loveliest angel of all. May you find the comfort you need through the memories you've made together as a family. Losing a parent is hard at any age but especially when your parent is as sweet and loving as Elisabeth. God bless all of you.
