Gary Stephen Gleaton, 74, from Hedgesville, WV, (formerly from Winchester and Strasburg, VA) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 15, 2025. A loving family man and known for his great sense of humor.
Gary was an avid football and baseball fan, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Yankees. He had many friends who will deeply miss spending time and sharing interests with Gary.
Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Gleaton (Rinker); one daughter: Jacinda Mattson and her husband Chad; three grandsons: Ayden, Camden, and Braxden; two brothers: John Gleaton and his wife Paula, Ricky Bowley and his wife Tara; one sister: Amanda Hoffman and her husband Robert; and several other family members from Strasburg, VA.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Cecil and Geneva (Peggy) Gleaton.
