He was a truck driver and worked for longtime friend, Sonny Spurgeon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lee Young.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Kellerman; his grandson, Tyson Kellerman; and his cousins, Virginia Callow and Hershel Webb.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Harry and Virginia; and two brothers, Jim and George.
He was also preceded in death by his second wife, Catherine Wood Young.
He is also survived by his sons, Thomas Young and Kevin Wood, and his daughters, Rose Carter and Jennifer Lowe.
Friends will be received at Rosedale Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-8pm.
Funeral services will be on Friday at 11am Rosedale Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Bush of Grace Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
