Iris Jacqueline Tutwiler

Born on May 25, 1928, to the late Clyde and Sarah Wheeler.

Iris graduated from Martinsburg High School, class of 1946. After graduating from high school, she married Charles Edward Tutwiler in 1950. She always appreciated the beautiful things in life such as art and music, she was always one to be the first to hit the dance floor! Iris also had a great love for all animals. She held many different positions over the years to include Dupont, FBI and retired as a State employee from the West Virginia Air National Guard.

She is survived by her two daughters Jeri Lewis, Jan Fries and her husband Steven. She has 3 grandchildren, Chris Lewis, Sara Fries, and Tyler Fries, and one great-grandchild, Brody Lewis. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Misty, AKA Miss T.

In addition to her parents and her husband of 65 years, Iris is preceded in death by her son, Todd Tutwiler.

The family would like to give a big thank you to Celebration Villa of Martinsburg for treating them like family.
