She was the daughter of the late Ottis and Lena Beck.
Iris was an active member of St. Lukes United Methodist Church, where she loved working in the soup kitchen and helped out with many other activities. She was also a member of the Berkeley Belles Red Hat Group. Iris loved boating and attending annual family camping trips. She loved to travel with Ken Woodcock, her husband of 53years, in their RV.
In addition to her husband, Iris will be missed by her two daughters, Karen Remaley, and Sandra Wood and her husband Jeff all of Martinsburg, WV; 5 grandchildren, Mark Remaley of Germantown, MD, Daniel and wife Katie Remaley, Jennifer Remaley, Shannon Wood and Jeffrey Wood Jr, all of Martinsburg, WV; and 3 great grandchildren Kaya, Avery, and Raelin Remaley.
Friends may call Friday, June 15, 2012 from 6 pm to 8pm at Rosedale Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 1pm at Rosedale Funeral Home.
Interment will immediately follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
